Turkish Language Courses

Buddy system is amongst the measures implemented to help the incoming student communicate with the locals in different environments. Departmental ECTS/Erasmus + Coordinators, as well as the International Affairs Office staff, are always eager to give support to the incoming students.

Measures such as private Turkish lessons or courses are through the planning process in the time being. Collaboration with TÖMER (Türkçe Öğretim Merkezi), which is a language center and founded with the purpose of teaching Turkish to foreigners, is the first priority. However, students who would like to learn Turkish and own a certificate can apply to TÖMER by meeting their own expenses. Furthermore, ESTU is actively working for the establishment of a Turkish teaching unit, which will provide free language courses for the demanding incoming students and staff, under the Rectorate.
